Do you remember the "I'm too sexy" song by Right Said Fred? I remember when it was released and I have never laughed so hard! It still has a certain humour to it even today and if you watch the video, you will notice Fred is smirking through the entire video...can you blame him? LOL!
So what does this have to do with my post? Yesterday Anne emailed me pictures of her sock in progress and said is it possible for a sock to be too sexy? It took me about 2 seconds to start singing "I'm too sexy..." in my head. Anne and I giggled over the song but seriously, don't you think her pattern is just too sexy? I mean look at those lovely sexy lines going down the back of the sock! Anne named her pattern Flaming Desire as a result - couldn't be more perfect, don't you think?
So if you want to get a piece of the sexy action, Yarn4Socks.com has a few more spots open but there's only a handful so grab it while you can! I am dyeing up the last batch of yarn for the colourway today. Remember, each and every sock will be unique and all will be a play on the colours you see in Anne's sock with some variation in intensity and placement of colours - fun! In following with the theme of fire, no two socks will be the same just like fire is never the same at any one moment.
Are you singing the song now? Sorry to have put that in your head! Feel free to substitute "sock" for "shirt" or "car" or anything else Right Said Fred is too sexy for...LOL
Yes, the sock does look sexy with all those curves - love the color & the great design!

When I was in college, one of the fraternities on campus locked all their pledges in the dining room and put that song on a loop for a few hours. The pledges all insisted that no matter how often you heard the song (and they would know!!), you never quite remembered where all the words went. Nice socks!
