I finished another shawl and I'm so pleased with this design! Check it out...here's the parade of pictures...
Raveled: Wine Berry Triangle Shawl
Designed by Michelle (aka Fickleknitter) this lovely little Limestone One Skein Triangle Shawl knit up quickly and it was my first time adding on a knit-on border. If you would like to join us for a KAL for Michelle's pattern, come on over to Ravelry! Both Michelle and I are offering fun prizes and the KAL won't start until the New Year when we have all gotten through the busy Christmas season.
And in case you haven't seen Linda Choo's new Astilbe Feathers Shawl design, you must venture over and look at the sample she knit up for me to be on display at next year's fibre shows - it's just so gorgeous and a lovely sized shawl. The optional beads also add a lovely, classy touch. I am busy dyeing up the Serenity Silk for this shawl and will have kits available very soon which will include pattern, yarn and beads. The beads I am using as inspiration to create the colourways to match so I'm hoping it will all come together nicely. Stay tuned and in the meantime, check out the lovely photos!

And it's official, on Monday I was "Harlotted"! What an exciting moment that was for me not only because Stephanie is the quintessential ambassador for knitting but also because this month marks my 5 year anniversary since starting Zen Yarn Garden. Having been Harlotted is a fantastic way to venture into my next year! I can't wait to see her socks finished - yay!
Happy Holidays everyone!
