Not sure how else to express the past week and a half other than by "whirlwind". This past weekend was our annual trek out to the Knitters' Fair here in Kitchener, Ontario and like it was last year, it was fantastic! With close to 80 vendors, there was a lot to choose from and the organizers did a fantastic job yet again putting it all together and hosting the event. The line-up to get in the door in the morning was longer than it was last year even. I do suspect this event is only going to grow from year to year in its popularity and quite possibly outgrow its current location even.
This year we were in the Ballroom and Cathy and I of Zigzagstitches had a double booth so we were able to spread out even better than we did the previous year. And just before all the customers came in, you can see just how many vendors were with us in the Ballroom...they were aplenty and the shopping was to die for! So many lovelies in one room!
I was so happy to spread out in the booth this year and I think Cathy was too. It's funny just how quickly one booth space can become too small for the two of us so having a bit more room was definitely much better for both of us to "spread our wings" a little.
And on the heels of re-opening my store from the show, I found out that Loudoun Needleworkers had launched their current issue of their newsletter where Zen Yarn Garden was asked to be a part of their article entitled "Five Questions with..." It was nice to see the interview in print and if you'd like to read the newsletter in full, please click here.
