Well, we did it! Cathy and I got through our first show and had a fabulous time. It was exhausting, it was exhilarating and the best part was seeing so many knitters all under one roof. The Fair had a wonderful turnout with about 1,900 knitters walking through the front doors and Cathy and I sold some of our wares and got to meet a lot of our customers and put a real face to all the avatars and ravatars we see online.
To everyone who dropped by our booth, thank you and for the organizers of the K-W Knitters' Fair, thank you as well - the guild volunteers were such gracious hosts who dropped by many times to make sure we were doing okay. To all the other vendors we met it was lovely to also meet you and put a face behind the hard-working businesses we know and love online.
And without further adieu, here's a couple of photos of our booth:

Hopefully next year the Yarn Harlot will stop by our booth and say hello! We did see her go down our row and make a beeline to the back of the Ballroom - not sure where she was going but she looked like she was on a mission...you know that look us knitters get when we have to get something we really want...that's the look Stephanie had...LOL Now I'm anxiously watching her blog to see what she was looking for!
What a whirlwind weekend! Cathy and I are planning to be back next year and can't wait!
